#Sonnets made me laugh a lot! You know, that real laugh out loud way…
If like me, you want to escape the news and/or make fun of the farcical political landscape we currently find ourselves in – then you need to grab a copy of #Sonnets by Lucien Young.
Written in the style of Shakespeare’s sonnets, this is a hilarious collection of sonnets, brilliantly focusing on modern day obsessions, such as Brexit, Tinder, The Great British Bake Off and Donald Trump. Yes, many are inappropriate, but believe me – they are sheer comedy. And to top it off, this small collection comes complete with amusing illustrations. In all my days I never imagined I would cast my eyes on an Elizabethan Donald Trump in a dress!
This is a great book to dip in and out off. It also makes a great present or coffee table read.
Published on 3rd October 2019, you can grab your copy now.
